Anthony DiBenedetto
Anthony (AD) is a founder and board member of Rock Fiber Inc. (RFI), where he provides strategic vision and leads partnership development with investors, customers, and industry stakeholders. With 40 years in energy conservation and renewables, he founded Conogen Inc., completing over 200 projects before its acquisition by Equitable Resources. He later led ERI Services, securing $2.1B in U.S. energy contracts, and now heads Hallock Capital, investing in alternative energy and life sciences.

Alex Biland
As Founder and CTO, Alex leads innovation and product development at RFI, overseeing the Houston Laboratory, patent expansion, and pilot facility planning. With 25+ years in continuous igneous rock fiber fabrication, he is a pioneer in sustainable, efficient, and scalable basalt fiber technology. Holding multiple patents, Sasha has led projects across the U.S., EU, and Japan, including an EU-funded boron basalt fiber initiative for nuclear waste management.

Col. Bryan Green
Bryan serves as CEO of RFI, bringing decades of leadership in defense, infrastructure, and advanced materials. A former U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commander and Military Lab Director, he led global initiatives including a $22B construction program on the Korean Peninsula. His expertise spans resilient infrastructure, autonomous systems, and novel materials, having managed 3,000+ scientists and $2B in R&D. He holds advanced degrees in Engineering Management and International Relations.

Rob Klawonn
Rob brings over 30 years of composites and manufacturing expertise to RFI, driving its growth as a global leader in rock-based fibers. His career includes executive roles in iron, steel, and carbon fiber, leading $1B in international projects at Midrex and, as President of Teijin N.A., directing acquisitions and overseeing a new carbon fiber plant. A former CEO of 4M Carbon Fiber Corp., Rob is a SAMPE member and co-inventor on several patents.

Gerry McDougall
Gerry serves as Chairman of RFI’s Board, instrumental in building the company’s foundation and securing early-stage funding. With over 25 years of experience forging large-scale alliances, JVs, and partnerships, he has advanced landmark initiatives in science, medicine, and biotechnology. A former senior partner at PwC, he built its Global Health Science consulting practice. Known for his trusted relationships across industries, Gerry continues to drive collaboration and innovation at the intersection of business and science.​​​

Jeff Nuss
With over 28 years of entrepreneurial experience, Jeff specializes in business growth and fundraising. As founder and CEO of GreenWood Resources, he expanded global operations to 741,000 acres and secured major investment from Nuveen in 2012. A Pacific Northwest native with a proven record in scaling sustainable ventures, Jeff combines economic success with environmental stewardship, bringing strategic vision and financial acumen to advance RFI’s mission of sustainable manufacturing and materials innovation.

Allan 'AJ' Tulp
Allan “A.J.” Tulp brings 38 years of institutional fixed-income experience in corporate and public finance, including as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he managed over $1B in institutional risk and financed major public infrastructure projects. In 2009, he founded Rembrandt Capital Management, directing municipal debt investments for a private partnership. A.J. is also a recognized benefactor supporting community and healthcare organizations, including the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and Isles Inc. in New Jersey.

Alberto Kader
Alberto will help guide RFI’s expansion across Latin America, bringing decades of experience in real estate, infrastructure, and investment. As President and CEO of Genera Holdings, he leads real asset development across Central America and the Caribbean, advancing renewable energy and sustainable growth. Formerly co-founder of Génesis Desarrollos and developer of Costa Rica’s landmark Forum I and II business parks, Alberto also partners with Glacier Global Partners and serves in leadership roles with CINDE and AMCHAM.
